At the beginning of April, we will move into our new flat - one with a second bedroom! I have been working on a floorplan. It's mostly accurate :). I am working hard to figure out the software I'm using.
Overall, the new place has about 65 m2 compared to our current flat with about 40 m2. That means that from the front door to the balcony doors, there are about ten paces. The width of the living area is about four paces. The kitchen is smaller but has much more countertop. There isn't much built-in storage space in the new flat, which means we will be purchasing some or otherwise getting it from friends. We hope that the landlord will re-do the flooring of the entire place - The carpet is wearing through in heavy traffic areas. We have made a couple of trips to IKEA to look around. Micah is not terribly aware of the move right now. His life revolves around his favourite cartoon characters and the friends he gets to play with each day. |
